Dan Stoltz Featured in February's Minnesota Good Age

SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz is featured in “The Art of Giving Back” in this month’s issue of Minnesota Good Age. In the magazine's annual finance issue, Dan shares about how he got his start, his approach to life and leadership, and what's next for him and his family.

When reflecting on his childhood, Stoltz shares how his work ethic started with a 60-house paper route, "On weekdays, I would get up at 4:30 a.m. to deliver the morning papers, then do an afternoon route after school, plus Saturdays and Sundays."

Dan also talks about how SPIRE's commitment to giving back matches with his own, "I believe that we need to be generous with our three Ts - time, talent, and treasures." He explains, "For me, life is not defined by what we accumulate, but the difference we have made in the lives of others and in our communities."

Also interviewed for the article is Chris Wright, CEO of the Minnesota United FC soccer team. Wrights talks about his friendship with Dan, "I knew he could coach me and help me learn how to be a better person, leader, and professional."

SPIRE would like to thank editor Sarah Jackson, writer Julie Kendrick, and photographer Tracy Walsh of Minnesota Good Age.
