Shari Ziebell, a 20-year Information Security professional, has joined the SPIRE Credit Union team as Information Security Director. Shari had been working for SPIRE on a contract basis for the past year and a half.

In her new role, Shari will lead the Information Security Department and implementation of processes and procedures to protect information. Shari will work with leaders throughout the organization to enhance SPIRE’s Information Security Program and posture.

A long-tenured banking industry professional, Shari has expertise in administrative controls, including policy and program development, education, and business continuity planning. She’s adept at developing effective security programs to align with strategic business plans.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband watching sports, golfing and traveling. She is also a passionate MN Vikings fan.

“I am excited to join the SPIRE team and looking forward to helping SPIRE improve lives,” says Shari, “I am dedicated to information security and teaching others how to protect their sensitive information and hence their future dreams.”
